Role Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will:
1. Provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their needs and preferences are met with dignity and respect.
2. Supervise and mentor care staff, ensuring best practices and high standards of care delivery.
3. Assist with personal care, medication administration, and daily living activities.
4. Develop and update care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
5. Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting concerns to appropriate team members.
6. Ensure compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements.
7. Contribute to a positive and supportive environment for residents and staff.
Essential Requirements
1. Previous experience as a Care Assistant or in a similar care role.
2. A relevant care qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent).
3. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
4. A genuine passion for providing compassionate and person-centered care.
5. Knowledge of health and safety, safeguarding, and care regulations.

1. Experience in supervising or mentoring care teams.
2. Understanding of individual care planning and risk assessments.
