Location: Liskeard Office Role Purpose: The primary purpose of the Business Sales Manager is to increase the customer base in line with Wildanet requirements, relating to Ready for Service FTTP premises and profitable revenue, through direct & Team engagement with potential and existing customers. This role will carry a personal target and cumulative Team target based on individual targets set for the Business Development Managers, they shall work with the consumer sales elements to help drive cross sell and upsell opportunities through existing customer partnerships. Main Responsibilities: Deliver the Business to Business targets as set (volume, revenue, product, service, ARPU and profit) and adhere to all standards set Ensure all elements of the B2B Sales Journey are compliant and all Active customers are paying for services Ensure all consumer cross sell opportunities are being explored Work with Ambassador sales manager to support pre-selling awareness Manage the Business Sales Team adhering to all HR & Safety procedures as shown in Bamboo and Sharepoint Actively, and professionally, manage the sales cycle both personally and the Team, to include : lead generation; lead management; arranging and managing appointments; preparing proposals and presentations; negotiating and closing contracts; working across Wildanet to continuously improve the sales cycle Represent the Team at all times and communicate back business requirements and general trading feedback To motivate the Team both personally and as a group Work within Sales and virtual Teams across Wildanet and external suppliers to deliver all targets set and deliver an excellent service to the Business to Business Customers Provide reporting and analysis as required to show activity, opportunity pipeline, and contracts/services sold in an agreed format utilising the relevant data source Work on projects that will directly lead to increase in revenue and customer share Key Activities: While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include: Achieve Sales targets for FTTP sales, ARPU, Revenue, VAS Targets Creating and managing a structured approach to B2B pipeline, market sectors and RFS in all builds – standard, intervention areas – as well as areas outside of these areas where there is built Account development plans and business cases to support this additional activity Ensure all accounts are paying and all accounts have account development plans to build growth for the future Prepare and deliver business proposals for Director of Sales Work with Marketing to: provide case studies; ii) Suggest ways to communicate both externally and internally to further promote Business services and activities; provide feedback on marketing activity by competitors or within target market sectors that Wildanet can utilise Develop & manage Team to include training requirements, personal improvement, and other requirements from Wildanet Business to Business activity to be led and driven to support town penetration plans Performance manage team were performance has overachieved or under achieves Support Consumer Sales team on all cross sell and upsell opportunities that exist within each account to help boost sales across all parts of Sales Attend limited events where needed and where they add ROI to Wildanet Build weekly trading feedback for trading reviews and mobilisation meetings Essential Person Specification Knowledge: Excellent written English skills Ability to adapt and change the expected task when circumstances demand it.
