1. Administer MFT infrastructure: Activities include handling installation, upgrades, and maintaining File Transmissions and related applications, onboarding/demising partners, monitoring health of application servers, performance tuning, and troubleshooting including L2/L3 support.
2. Work in rotating shifts: Provide out-of-hours support on a rotation basis to support the services.
3. Identify operational risks: Audit and compliance risks/issues and contribute to mitigate the same.
4. Participate in crisis calls: For service recovery, MIRs, and SIPs. Own the resolution of problems in hand, demonstrating analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent recurrence.
5. Work on critical incidents: Ensure completion within agreed deadlines.
6. Participate in POCs: Engage in other technical initiatives.
7. Create/maintain knowledge base: Through documentation and KT sessions.
8. Share technical knowledge: Uplift capabilities by mentoring team members.
9. Brainstorm on emerging technology trends: Constantly question and clarify from teams to ensure critical technology issues are surfaced and considered.
10. Act as a buddy: To new joiners and colleagues, helping them settle into the project and providing technical leadership.
11. Promote process improvement: Drive automation to improve efficiencies and reduce toil.
12. Enterprise focus: Building solutions with an emphasis on sustainability, supportability, stability, and robustness, including disaster recovery features.
13. Knowledge of Service Management: Familiarity with Change, Incident, and Problem management, as well as Agile methodologies.
14. Ability to work independently: With minimal supervision and a sense of ownership and accountability.
15. Strong communication skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
