The Team Provide Financial Business Partnering, Financial Control And FP&A Support To The Head Office functions such as Finance, General Counsel, HR, Strategy, Communications, the Transformation Office and our Main Board; Global Business Services (GBS), which is a multi-functional service delivery organisation bringing together expertise from Finance Operations, People Services, Group Property, Procurement Operations and Data Analytics & Reporting (R2DL); Group Digital & IT, digitally powering the organisation and keeping us all cyber safe; and Corporate, which includes site HQ balances and Rolls-Royce International. This position plays a critical role in supporting change management to set up and establish the new Organisation Design principles, establish, and deliver the new Management Information reporting requirements going forward that will enable our Executive Leaders to make informed data driven decisions. It will be critical to work with the India team to deliver timely monthly reporting of financials, supporting and providing insights, principally to Head Office, but also for the other areas of Central Finance too. What You Will Be Doing In this role you will assist the FP&A Managers with the preparation, review and forecasting of the Enabling Functions, providing financial analysis and insights, and ensuring timely service delivery. You will also; Play a lead role in supporting the development and rollout of new functional operating cost reports, collaborating, and working with the Divisional teams (Civil, Defence and Power Systems) to provide meaningful total global cost data. Educate both finance and non-finance leaders on how to self-serve using the reports and dashboards we will develop. Monthly actuals reporting including accrual recommendations, journal preparation, variance analysis and insights. Preparing and populating budget and five-year forecast models using key inputs from various business contacts, challenging inputs with a cost-conscious mindset and ZBB approach, loading into VBM/HFM, complete MI review packs together with insightful commentary, opportunities and vulnerabilities templates and communication with the business and the Enabling Functional leadership. Balance Sheet management, including completing balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline, audit reviews with the Chief Accountant and answering questions from External Audit, Finance Service Centres, Group Finance, Tax etc where required. Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) Strong interpersonal, influencing, and organisational skills, comfortable interacting with senior leadership Experience of SAP, VBM and HFM preferable Experience of completing monthly management accounts with strong analytical skills Be comfortable building effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and global teams at all levels of the organisation Resilience, problem solving and good judgement Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills Confident, proactive, driven self-starter.
