Scope of Role:
To repair and overhaul a wide range of aircraft components, including electromechanical and electronic components. Experience in testing, fault finding, and repairing is essential.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Undertake precise mechanical work and electronics repair including through-hole and surface-mounted components.
2. Complete fault finding, repair, and testing processes using specialized and general-purpose test equipment.
3. Undertake work in accordance with the manufacturer's component maintenance manual, regulatory approvals, and the company's quality system.
4. Complete accurate and legible repair records and ensure they are filed in a timely manner.
5. Maintain an agreed level of quality and cost-effectiveness, ensuring accuracy and safety standards are met.
6. Keep abreast of company working practices and procedures.
7. Undertake cross-training in other technical areas in line with the requirements of the business.
ESSENTIAL:
1. Understanding of policies and procedures; proven ability to communicate, lead, and successfully deliver improvement initiatives.
2. ISO 9001:2015/AS9100/AS9110 experience would be desirable.
3. Ability to work well in multidisciplinary/cross-functional teams.
4. Strong analytical, administrative, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
5. Innovative and enthusiastic.
6. Ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, and multi-task.
7. Security clearance will need to be obtainable.
DESIRABLE:
1. Aircraft Engineering.
2. Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology.
3. Experience working in EASA 145 maintenance organization and understanding of the regulations.
4. Good understanding of aircraft component maintenance principles and system avionics.
Details / Benefits:
Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm
Friday 8am - 3.30pm
Salary: dependent on experience
Overtime: Available at 1.5x Monday to Saturday and 2x on Sunday
