About the Role:
Search Consultancy is working with a renowned client to recruit a Stores Person for their site in North Ayrshire. In this role, you will be responsible in supporting the client's strategic priorities while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake your role in line with the client's priorities and company policies.
* Work to deadline targets and provide effective customer service.
* Perform any other required duties as instructed by Management or their representatives, in addition to role-specific tasks.
* Using IT systems to process and review stock request documentation.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a stores or warehouse role preferred.
* Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license required.
* Health and safety awareness required.
* Manual handling awareness required.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) safely and efficiently.
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
What We Offer:
* A competitive rate of pay.
* Minimum 6 month term
* The possibility of contract extension.
* A 35-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
