At a glance: Role: Skilled Operational Partner CDH Position: Permanent Position Location: Cranbrook Way (CDH) Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, on a 2 week rotation plan to include 1 out 2 weekends. Rota: Week 1 : Working Monday to Friday (14:00 -22:00). Week 2: Working Tuesday to Saturday (14:00 -22:00). Pay: £11.75 per hour Please note the PM shift will attract an additional shift premium of 3.1% of the base rate for this role. This is a potential earning of £12.10, hourly. Due to the nature of this role, we require all applicants to be over 18 to apply About the role: You will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse supports all the Partnership channels by handling stock coming in and being sent out of the warehouse. Performing tasks of unloading and loading stock, accurately recording deliveries into the warehouse, moving stock around the warehouse and collecting stock for deliveries. All these tasks are to be performed in a safe manner with an awareness of individual responsibility for health and safety at all times. Please note that this role involves heavy lifting. Within this Warehouse Operative role, there will be scope to advance your career as a Porter or Driver. Job Requirements: Applicants should have the ability to deliver excellent customer service and seek growth in all they do. The role requires a flexible approach; there will be times when you will be supporting the selling floor and other areas of the branch to meet the business needs. Essential Skills Communication skills – including telephone skills, verbal and written. Understanding of Google Suite/Programmes Desirable experience skills and qualifications: Category B manual UK driving license (no more than 6 points). Previous Warehousing experience.
