Maths Teacher - Hounslow, London
An established all-boys secondary school located in Hounslow is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. This full-time role is available immediately and will continue until at least July 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will inspire and guide students in their mathematical development, delivering engaging lessons and promoting a love for the subject. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across a range of year groups, helping students to build strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a deep understanding of mathematical principles.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that are engaging, challenging, and accessible to all students.
2. Encourage students to develop their problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
3. Support and motivate students to achieve their best, setting high expectations for all learners.
4. Develop and implement a variety of teaching strategies that cater to different learning styles.
5. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and supported.
6. Contribute to the school's wider academic and extracurricular activities, including after-school support sessions or school clubs.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
3. Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
4. Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A positive, energetic, and approachable teaching style that promotes student engagement and success.
