Watching someone achieve the remarkable. Giving someone quality time and support.
This is why we do it. This is why we care.
As part of our Adult Social Care team, amazing moments like these will be part of daily life as you support those who need us most. What’s more, you’ll help us take our service to new heights. Add to that an array of brilliant benefits – including an employee assistance programme, tax-free childcare, cycle to work scheme and staff discounts – and you’ve got a rewarding role in every sense.
We are currently looking for two full-time Team Leaders to join our dedicated Rehabilitation Services team.
About the role
As a Team Leader within our Rehabilitation Services, you will support the Registered Manager and wider management team with the day-to-day running of our 24-hour regulated service. You will hold responsibility to ensure that our therapy-led rehabilitation services are caring, safe, effective, well-led and responsive. You will achieve this through engaging with individuals who attend our service, the therapy team and wider support networks, and through line management of the Rehabilitation team. As a Team Leader you will also support the Registered Manager with quality assurance and auditing work, alongside participating in appropriate project work.
About you
Working at NVQ Level 3 means that health and or social care experience is required, and management experience is desirable, but above all we want someone that shares in our values.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate experience in managing and developing staff, alongside leadership abilities and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The nature of this post requires flexibility to meet urgent work needs as they arise. The post will involve work out of normal office / core working hours at times, including management cover for out of hours services and at locations across the county, for which additional allowances are paid. This will include evening, bank holidays and weekend working.
About us
It’s a fantastic time to join Gloucestershire County Council, as we transform our Adult Social Care services. Through our team, we’re helping people with increasingly complex needs to remain independent and have a say in how they live. To succeed, we need people who’ll go the extra mile to see others well and happy, and give families peace of mind. People who know that caring is the most rewarding feeling around.
Join us, and you’ll have a great opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives. Meanwhile, we’ll thank you with a range of excellent benefits and give you the training and support to develop your career. We genuinely care about our colleagues and support their wellbeing.
