We are working with our client partner who are a leading European manufacturer. Our client is expanding their operations and opening a new office in the Essex area, and they are looking for dedicated and skilled staff to join their growing team.
Key responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and maintenance of SAP deliveries automatic creation process
2. Ensuring right priorities assignment for customers shipments
3. Supervising quality of outbound shipping service
4. Managing relationships with Customs and Carriers
5. Collecting logistic issues from market claims and collaborating with Warehousing team and/or ICT technicians for solutions
6. Always operate according to Group culture, values, rules and procedures
Skills and qualifications:
1. Qualifications: University degree pertaining to trade / import-export / international commerce
2. Experience: 2 years’ experience on outbound shipping activities
3. Ability in analysing internal process flows is needed.
4. Reporting skills are recommended.
5. Previous experience in planning departments is preferred.
6. Knowledge:
7. Capability in dealing with Front Office, Procurement Planners and especially Customers is needed.
8. Knowledge of SAP is required.
9. Knowledge of most important IT tools (especially excel) is needed.
10. A solid knowledge of Customs processes, import/export activities, Shipping procedures, international logistics is required.
11. Capability in dealing with complexity in a multinational environment is needed.
12. Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions both at local and Group level is highly recommended.
13. An attitude to measure performances by KPIs is highly recommended.
14. An “hands-on” approach together with a high commitment in respecting working deadlines are highly appreciated.
15. A good understanding of main company processes is appreciated.
16. Business judgment and curiosity are required.
17. Good communication skills with all levels of the organisation are required.
