MJM Marine is looking to recruit a Communications and Engagement Co-ordinator to manage the Company’s Internal communications and strengthen employee engagement. The post holder will join the Company’s HR department and will work closely with the Company’s HR and Marketing teams. The Ideal Person will: Be confident with a Can- do attitude. Be an effective Team Leader, Communicator, and Presenter with strong organisational and delegation skills. Be degree educated or equivalent, and will have at least GCSE English Grade B, with excellent written English competency and will have the right to live and work in the UK It is desirable but not essential to have previous experience in a marketing role or a role requiring the attributes as described above, however newly qualified graduates will also be considered. Key duties include: Leading the Company’s social committee, managing all employee and charity events Responsibility for the Company quarterly newsletter Organising Employee briefings Developing and managing employee engagement initiatives Managing company- wide internal communications Developing and managing the Company’s Intranet Administration of employee benefits in conjunction with the HR Manager Carrying out similar duties for all branch companies Assisting the HR and Marketing departments when required Representing the Company at external events when required Other duties commensurate with the job description MJM Marine is the recipient of a Gold Investors in People award and a Bronze Diversity Mark.
