The role:
Leading on all aspects of the Additional Learning Needs (ALN) agenda on behalf of the College, you will be responsible for implementing the ALN Code of Practice and associated legislation.
* 37 Hours Per Week
* Permanent
* £55,250 - £60,000 Per Annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the central ALN/Neurodiversity team ensuring students receive an outstanding student experience.
* Implementing an ALN strategy (FE, HE, and Work-Based Learning) in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
* Acting as operational ALNCo for the College, reporting into the Vice Principal for Learner Experience and Inclusion for statutory compliance.
* Identifying and monitoring resource requirements to maintain and improve ALN support across the College.
About you:
* Registered FE teacher.
* Recognised Teaching Qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
* Experience of supporting learners with a range of additional learning and neurodiversity needs.
* Experience of leading teams who support learners.
* Collaborative team worker.
