We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead our clients' commercial vehicle sales team. This role offers the opportunity to drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, mentor a team, and contribute to the senior leadership team.

We are working with a leading commercial vehicle business, supplying the UK with vehicle sourcing, fleet solutions, and light commercial vehicles.
The Role
The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, and building relationships with key clients and partners.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client accounts, and ensuring processes and procedures are adhered to.
As a leader in the function, you'll empower, grow, and mentor your team to meet targets and drive revenue.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
2. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, expand, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Set clear performance expectations, monitor team progress, and provide ongoing feedback to drive results.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. Understand their business needs and challenges, and present tailored solutions to complement long-term business growth.
4. Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare accurate forecasts. Provide regular reports on sales progress, market trends, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
5. Pipeline Management: Oversee and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring a continuous flow of leads and opportunities. Qualify and prioritize leads to ensure efficient use of resources.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, aftersales, and customer support teams to ensure alignment between sales objectives and overall business goals.
7. Sales Training & Development: Identify skill gaps within the team and provide relevant training or development.

* Proven track record in commercial vehicle sales or leasing.
* Strong leadership and people management skills.

* Data-driven decision-making with the ability to analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
* Strong understanding of CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
* A Full UK Driving licence.
