Please apply via link or directly at or Role Overview: As a site manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development of various projects within the central belt. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all site activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, timelines and budgets. You’ll coordinate and manage all site personnel, ensuring adherence to site safety, quality and general project delivery. The workforce will look to you as the main point of call for the site’s performance standard, giving you the opportunity to push for excellence and deliver projects you can be proud of. Your Key Responsibilities: Take responsibility for site safety, quality and general project delivery. Produce detailed programmes and task sheets. Responsible for staff and workforce’s time keeping and general performance standards. Ensure that company procedures and administration duties are adhered to. Communicate immediately with contract manager and senior QS where strategies and targets are not achieved or where any site failures occur. Build relationship with opposition site team with view for repeat business. Identify all variations, and commercial opportunities, that occur during the project and communicate these to the surveyors and management team. Deliver the project in line with the strategy set by the management team. Communicate in detail, the information required to allow the site team to deliver the product. Review weekly programmes and ensure necessary plant and consumables are planned/in place. Assist with making training arrangements from the site. Monitor material usage to reduce waste. Allocate tasks to on-site staff. Open and close the site. Who we are looking for Experience in Site Management – preferably on civil engineering projects. Valid driving license. SMSTS qualification. Valid CSCS card. IT Literate – this job entails keeping detailed records so IT literacy is necessary. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated and able to help motivate others.
