Assistant Capital Accountant - Band 4, hours per week - Parkhouse

This role provides support to the Strategic Finance section of the Finance Department, supporting the Collaboratives in the Trust and the successful applicant will bring their own interpersonal and technical skills into a strong successful candidate will play a key role as part of the finance team and will be fully supported in the role and in developing their career.

Main duties of the job
The Post holder will be required to directly support the Strategic Finance section of the Finance Department, and provide general support to the whole Finance Department and non-finance staff throughout the Trust.
The principal duties are to:o Monitor capital expenditure and monthly reporting thereof;o Update and maintain asset register;o Draft monthly commentary and analysis for internal and external reports.
The role of the finance department is to safeguard the financial assets of the Trusts, discharge liabilities as they fall due, report to and advise management on financial issues, support the Trust in achieving its business objectives and promote good financial practice and performance.
