This is a wonderful opportunity to support a young lady and her family in a peaceful and rural home setting. The role requires that she is prepared for bed in the evenings and is up and dressed in the mornings ready to go to her day centre. Required skills: experience in clinical/complex care all aspects of personal care, showering and dressing able to follow instructions accurately be patient, supportive, caring and able to work on own initiative able to develop trusting working relationships must be fully covid vaccinated Full training and support will be given to the right candidate. Previous experience is preferred but not essential and it is important that you view this role as a long-term commitment. Due to the location the successful candidate must have a full UK drivers’ licence and their own vehicle. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed. Support and/or prompt the individual to take medication. Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship. Only candidates over the legal age should apply for this position as you will be required to administer medication. The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this. You could be required to perform other duties as reasonably required. You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately. You have a duty to report defects and / or hazards which may give rise to an accident.
