Housing Litigation Senior Associate – 4+ PQE

A national Legal 100 firm, with a top-tier Legal 500 team, is looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to join their thriving Property Litigation team. They have approximately 150 Solicitors across the firm and work with over 100 Registered Providers (RPs) across England & Wales including local authorities and private landlords.
This opportunity is focused on a wide variety of property litigation and housing management matters, including injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, service charge disputes, and cases before the FTT (training to be provided in any areas lacking experience). You may also be asked to provide policy advice relating to the Equality Act, CQC, or other similar matters. Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a varied caseload of leasehold management and housing matters including injunctions, possession claims, disrepair, service charge disputes, and cases before the FTT (training to be provided in any areas lacking experience).
* Advising on some non-contentious matters such as policy advice, especially for housing and care providers.
* Assisting with the management of junior legal professionals and contributing to the development of the team.
* Building relationships with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care while ensuring full compliance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* UK qualified solicitor of 4+ PQE, with excellent post-qualification experience from a recognised firm or property company.
* A strong understanding of housing law, leasehold management law, or property litigation law, with experience managing a caseload of matters with minimal supervision.
* Strong academic background with a 2:1 degree at a minimum.
* Excellent communication skills with colleagues and members of staff.
* High levels of attention to detail.
* Ideally experience advising housing or care providers on the Equality Act 2010, CQC Regulations, housing benefit determinations, and adult safeguarding (highly desirable but not essential).
