Chief Information Security Officer - CISO (Fintech, Securities / FX / CFD Industry)
This is a critical role where you'll be empowered to build and champion a world-class security posture, protecting our global client's cutting-edge financial technologies and its valued customers.
Location : Flexible within the APAC / ANZ region
What you'll do :
* Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing security team, fostering a culture of security awareness and best practices.
* Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability management, incident response, and security audits.
* Implement and manage security technologies and controls, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to promote a security-first mindset.
* Stay ahead of the curve on emerging security threats and technologies, ensuring our client's defenses remain cutting-edge.
* Represent the company on security matters with regulators, partners, and industry bodies.
What you'll bring :
* Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior security leadership role, preferably within the financial services or technology sector.
* Deep understanding of security frameworks, regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR), and industry best practices.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
* Experience in managing complex security projects and budgets.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly desirable.
