We are looking for two Corporate Tax Managers to join our Owner Managed Businesses Tax team.
Job Purpose:
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two Corporate Tax Managers to join our OMB tax team. Location is flexible.
A role in our OMB tax team will put you front and centre of our clients’ ambitions. We advise on the tax implications of a full range of transactions, throughout the lifecycle of the business, considering not only the tax consequences for the business but also for the shareholders that are behind the business and their families.
It’s a role with diverse requirements and huge learning opportunities, firmly rooted in a spirit of partnership with our clients.
The Tax Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):
* Provide technical tax advice on a range of issues, including in business reorganisations, exits, EOTs, MVLs and family succession issues.
* Support on delivery of tax due diligence assignments.
* Manage a small corporate tax compliance portfolio of key OMB clients, reviewing the work of junior colleagues to ensure the clients' compliance needs are dealt with timeously and quality of service is maintained.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, providing excellent client service and identifying opportunities to provide value-added services.
* Collaboration with wider firm colleagues to deliver a seamless client experience, including those in Corporate Finance, VAT/indirect taxes, Innovation Taxes, Entrepreneurial Taxes and Wealth to name but a few.
* Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate the impact of these changes to clients and colleagues.
* Support and promote continual development of junior colleagues through training, coaching and provision of timely developmental feedback.
About You:
* A highly experienced Tax professional, operating at Assistant Manager grade or above.
* Relevant experience in this or a similar corporate tax or private client tax advisory focused role is preferred.
* A leader of your work and your professional learning.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others.
* Qualified CA and/or CTA (or equivalent) is essential.
* Experience of line management/coaching in an advisory setting is desirable.
