Description The Opportunity: Physics & Astronomy Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Intern (Employ.ed on Campus) College of Science and Engineering/Physics & Astronomy (to be based in the James Clerk Maxwell Building and the Institute for Astronomy at the Royal Observatory Edinburgh) Temporary fixed-term contract/part time or full time: 21 - 35 hours per week Fixed term contract, starting 2nd June 2025, for 10 weeks We are looking for a student to work on updating School EDI resources, particularly focused on Widening Participation and developing relevant recommendations, as well as on EDI topics aligned to their interest and experience. Employ.ed on Campus internships are ONLY open to 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK. This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
