Finance Manager ***High Growth Drinks Challenger Brand***
Location: Based in Bristol with Hybrid working 3/4 days office based.
Our client is a fast growing drinks brand, dedicated to providing high-quality, health-conscious products for active individuals. With a focus on controlled ingredients, rich antioxidants, and sustainability, the company ensures its products are ethically sourced and contribute positively to both health and the planet.
Due to consistently doubling their business year on year for the past three years, they are now seeking a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations. This position will provide essential analytical support to guide the business’s growth and profitability, manage financial records, optimize cash flow, and develop budgeting and forecasting models. The Finance Manager will also collaborate with departments like procurement, sales, and marketing to identify cost-saving opportunities and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee month-end and year-end processes, prepare management accounts, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Provide regular financial updates to senior management.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, develop rolling forecasts, and monitor performance against budgets.
* Cash Flow & Working Capital: Manage cash flow, optimize working capital, and implement cash management strategies.
* Cost Control & Margin Improvement: Analyse supply chain costs, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with sales to enhance profitability.
* Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Coordinate with external advisors.
* Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes, enhance systems, and promote continuous improvement within the finance function.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; ACA, ACCA, CIMA preferred.
* Experience: 3–5 years in finance or accounting, preferably in FMCG, retail, or a similar sector.
* Skills: Expertise in financial reporting software, Excel, and cloud-based platforms. Strong financial modelling, analytical, and communication skills.
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
