We are on the hunt for a talented and hard-working Account Director to join our multi-disciplined and growing team. This role is fundamental for the smooth running projects and delivery of briefs on time and on budget, whilst building strong and positive client relationships and growing key accounts within the business. Our clients range from start-ups to established global brands across a broad range of categories, and our work varies across design, digital and advertising. Key Responsibilities: Building and Maintaining Client Relationships Earn the trust of clients - Build a strong rapport with them and take responsibility for the day-to-day client-agency relationship. Effectively manage expectations - Around timings, budgets, resources and the overall delivery of a brief. Quality Control for Projects Deliver high-quality work - As the people in the room who should know and understand the clients best, it’s the job of Account Directors to ensure that the work we put out holds true to the client brief, whilst also delivering the highest quality strategic and creative work for us as an agency. Have a strong creative eye - Work with the design and creative teams to ensure a high creative standard across all project deliverables, in line with client goals and expectations. Be a strategic thinker - Work with the strategy team to ensure briefs are delivered in line with agreed brand or communications strategies. Raise a flag in good time - Work with the management team by raising a flag if project briefs are at risk of going off track, overtime or over budget. Building and Maintaining Internal Relationships Be a team player - Building and maintaining strong working relationships across every discipline within the agency. Develop clear project briefs Deliver succinct and clear client feedback Oversee the work of more junior members of the Accounts team, providing training and support whilst still taking accountability for the delivery of the project or client relationship overall. See yourself as a role model for other members of the account and broader team Organisation and Project Management Project ownership - Take responsibility for the overall delivery of the project, managing it end-to-end from briefing through to execution, delivery or handover. Strong written and verbal communication skills Presenting and meeting management - Be able to present internally and to clients with clarity and confidence, and run meetings efficiently and effectively with clear agendas and next steps. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects set off in the right direction by being organised and ensuring everyone is clear on their role in the project, the scope of work for delivery and any constraints or limitations. Be proactive and solutions-focused in the face of project challenges, maintaining a calm and positive outlook throughout. Maintain project status reports and ensure all members of the team, internal and client-side, are informed and clear about next steps. Develop a longer-term view on projects and accounts. Work alongside the design, strategy and management team to schedule the appropriate amount of resources to deliver a project, in line with budgets and deadlines. Business Development and Finance Effective management of project budgets in line with agreed scopes of work Regularly report key financial information to agency management and finance teams Identify new business opportunities - Bringing them forward to the management team and working with them to convert new projects. Draft of clear proposals in line with new project briefs.
