Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outfit Steel Manager/Supervisor with a strong background in both manufacturing and installation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication, assembly, and installation of steel components for various projects. They will lead a team of professionals to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications and timelines. The Outfit Steel Manager/Supervisor will play a crucial role in coordinating with different departments, managing resources effectively, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the entire process.
Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans for steel outfitting projects.
Ensure that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.
2. Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of fabricators, assemblers, welders, and installers.
Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor progress to ensure productivity and efficiency.
3. Manufacturing Oversight
Supervise the fabrication and assembly of steel components in the manufacturing facility.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures.
Optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
4. Installation Management
Coordinate the logistics of steel component delivery and installation at project sites.
Oversee installation crews to ensure proper assembly and adherence to project specifications.
Address any issues or challenges that arise during installation, troubleshooting solutions promptly.
5. Resource Management
Manage resources including manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to meet project requirements.
Procure necessary materials and supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
6. Quality Assurance
Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of fabricated steel components and installed structures.
Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality deficiencies and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Documentation and Reporting
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including manufacturing schedules, installation logs, and quality control reports.
Generate regular reports for project managers and stakeholders, providing updates on milestones, challenges, and resolutions.
