Your new opportunity
Quarriers are currently recruiting part time Support Workers to join a our services located in Paisley & Johnstone, Renfrewshire. You will be supporting adults who live in their own home providing 1:2:1 support in their day to day life. The people supported have complex needs and some use alternative methods of communication therefore a capability of building an understanding of their needs will be essential to be able to adapt support in line with care plans and positive outcomes.
As a Support Worker you will also help and assist with cooking, cleaning, personal care and assist in taking part in activities they enjoy while ensuring the person feels safe and secure.
Working pattern: This opportunity is part time offering 35 hours per week and you will be required to work a variety of shifts which will include early and late shifts as well as regular sleepovers including weekends on a team rotational schedule.

* Flexibility to be able to work a variety of shifts as part of a team rota.

* Willingness to train on the impact of trauma and understand paths for recovery.
