Maintenance Supervisor
This is a wonderful opportunity to work for a well-established Housing Association.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the property inspector.
2. Check and manage all emails and phone calls related to maintenance.
3. Speak to tenants and deal with any repair issues or queries.
4. Deal with disrepairs / tenant complaints from councils.
5. Meet council inspectors on site for joint inspections.
6. New tenants sign ups and key collections.
7. Tenant evictions.
8. Book maintenance repairs with the relevant contractors or landlords.
9. Report on daily occupancy checks voids and hand backs.
10. Obtain contractor quotes.
11. Report figures to the board on a monthly basis.
12. Inspections on new / void and existing properties.
13. Lease and licence renewals with the landlords / councils.
14. Survey new properties and advise the landlords if any repairs are required prior to taking on the property and issue all paperwork.
15. Rent collection where necessary.
16. Authorise contractor invoices.
17. Order equipment / furniture for new and void properties.
18. Manage property keys.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to write repair specifications and have a driving licence.
Benefits:
19. Salary is £38,000 to £40,000, depending on experience
20. Working Hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
21. Permanent contract with a 3-month probation period
22. Holidays are 28 days leave plus bank holidays
