Desktop Support Engineer 3 Month Contract Location: Office based - 5 days onsite in Brighton Pay Rate: £ 400 - £ 425 per day (Inside IR35) Skills: Intune, Windows 10, Windows 11, Autopilot process es, Migration experience Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide 1st and 2nd line support to end-users, assisting with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of auto-pilot enrolment (user-driven), as well as upgrade to Windows 11. Deployment: Assist with the migration from hybrid to cloud through autopilot, and in the deployment of Windows 11 across the organization, ensuring minimal disruption to users. Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues related to Windows 11, including hardware and software compatibility assessments. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed deployment documentation and reports. Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users post-deployment. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and project managers to meet deployment deadlines. Qualifications: Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding and experience of Intune, auto-pilot process and upgrade from Windows 10 to 11. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. Customer Service: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support end-users effectively. Certifications: ITIL Foundation certification or similar is often preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a desktop support or IT role is required in migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11; knowledge Intune and apps deployment is required
