Role Summary:
A client of ours who provide specialist High Voltage (HV) installation and commissioning services up to 400kV are recruiting for a Portfolio Manager.
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a group of projects within a specific portfolio. This role involves leading Project Managers (PMs) and Apprentice Project Managers (APMs), coordinating resources, managing project delivery, and ensuring alignment with client requirements, internal standards, and corporate goals.

Selected Key Responsibilities:
* Project Allocation & Planning
* Collaborate with the Heads of Tendering, Operations, and Commercials to assess new contract awards and allocate projects to appropriate portfolios based on resources, location, and project type.
* Set up and lead project kick-off meetings, ensuring alignment across all departments (design, commercial, and construction).
* Assign Project Managers and ensure all members of the project team are briefed on their roles and responsibilities.
* Project & Team Monitoring
* Oversee Project Managers and Lead Designers within the portfolio, ensuring the timely and budget-conscious delivery of projects.
