Pin Point Recruitment are looking for a Print Production Controller for a print manufacturing business.
As the Print Production Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the Production Team Leader / Production Manager and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are flawlessly moved through the business and delivered to client satisfaction.
Print Production Controller Job Role:
1. Work with the Account Management team and the Production Manager and Team Leader to ensure that you receive the required standard of brief, understanding client expectations and what is required to deliver on those expectations.
2. Manage the operational process of product manufacturing and ensure that you maximise efficiency.
3. Meet or exceed customer expectations.
4. Understand current jobs, minimising production costs and timings, reducing both material and time wastage involved in the quote through to complete production.
5. Deliver on tasks correctly, on time and on quality; escalate to the CSM and/or Account Manager and take remedial action where necessary.
6. Commit to a thorough and clear communication loop with the Account Management team and the client, updating with job progress, errors, and mutually beneficial solutions.
7. Responsible for effective management of outsourced permanent POS.
8. Ensure your personal knowledge is up to date on MIS systems, product, material, and technical processes development.
9. Operate invoicing process accurately and in a timely fashion.
10. Strive for continual improvement of client work.
11. Join the Account Management or New Business teams for pitches, presentations, or visits as required, seeking new cross-selling opportunities and growth of existing business.
Print Production Controller Skills Required:
1. Excel knowledge (Essential)
2. Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes
3. 5 years' experience with print
4. High level of attention to detail
5. Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
6. Ability to communicate effectively internally with colleagues and externally with clients
7. Good relationship building and negotiation skills
8. Analytical thinking skills
9. Professional approach to problem solving and internal customer relations
10. Reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious
11. Effective and collaborative team player
