Kenneth Brian Associates are recruiting on behalf of a fast expanding business based in Leatherhead. We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team on a part time permanent basis. The role requires someone to work 30 hours per week and this can be done over 4 or 5 days where you will be required to go in to the office twice a week. Main Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to: Collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks including but not limited to bookkeeping, postings etc. Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions. Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, payables, receivables and purchase orders where needed. Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them. Liaise and manage payroll activities with concerned personnel. Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors and vendors. Verify payments and deposits made through the company account. Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts Month end journals including payroll, accruals, pre-payments, depreciation, etc Qualifications Intermediate level Excel ability (Vlookups, Pivot tables, ability to work with large spreadsheets) Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure Willingness to learn and develop
