Job title: Senior Facilities Security Administrator
Location: Warton
What you’ll be doing:
* Reporting to the FCAS Security Physical and Personnel Senior Lead, executing operational, physical and personnel security responsibilities for FCAS Security work streams in order to protect BAE Systems, its people, infrastructure, information and assets in a secure environment, as well as the interests of its shareholders and customers, and to fulfil regulatory and legal obligations
* Administering and managing access to secure areas in accordance with established policies and procedures
* Facilitating the onboarding and offboarding of personnel, ensuring proper clearance and authorisation levels
* Providing support during audits and inspections, responding to requests for information and maintaining proper documentation
* Coordinating with FCAS Secure Facility Lead and senior security officials to assess potential risks and implement security enhancements
* Supporting the FCAS Secure Facilities Lead in ensuring correct access is granted ensuring operational integrity to protect FCAS personnel, systems, information and assets
* Regularly liaising cross checking access clearances with MOD Compartment Administrators
* Building effective relationships and coordinating with key BAES and MOD contacts to enable visitor access requests
Your skills and experiences:
* Team leadership experience both in the UK and overseas
* Proficient experience with Security Policies and procedures, including government and industry standards
* Experience working with classified material that requires due diligence and attention to detail
* Good written and verbal communication including presentation skills
* Problem solving experience, particularly with mitigating risks

The FCAS Security team is a holistic security team designed to be able to tackle current and future threats to our programme, people and capabilities.
We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Senior Security Administrator to join our dynamic team.As a Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, access control, and management of sensitive information in specialised areas. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security protocols and contribute to the overall security framework of the organisation.
We are investing in a new and innovative approach to security and this new team is being looked at to develop BAE’s new approach to multi national, highly sensitive and critical military programmes.
