The Regional Marketing Head manages multiple teams through other managers. An in-depth understanding of how the own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function is essential. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services is also necessary to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. This role requires a thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level, with some external communication/negotiation being necessary. The Regional Marketing Head is responsible for executing functional strategy in the area managed, determining the approach to implementing functional strategy, and is accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation, and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). The impact reflects the size of the team managed, strategic influence on the business, and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams includes management of people, budget and planning, and duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations, and budget approval. This role typically reports directly to a C16 role and functions as an integral member of the functional leadership team within a country/site location, job family, or line of business.
Responsibilities:
* Work as a strategic partner with designated Region Heads and Global Market Managers (NAM, EMEA, LATAM, APAC) to create and execute regional marketing strategies, including execution of client Advisory Boards, design and execution of internal sales meetings, and regional business strategy specific to regional and local offices.
* Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team in different regions to develop and execute common standards and messaging aimed at delivering an exceptional client experience across all client touchpoints.
* Foster ongoing dialogue with regional marketing colleagues across Citi to partner on events and identify opportunities around mutual clients.
* Manage the execution of all regional client and prospect events, ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and quality of execution.
* Execute delivery and implementation of the top-down global marketing strategy, managing participation in relevant events outside the region.
* Own and develop a program of smaller, bespoke client and prospect events and PR programs supporting region-specific business development plans.
* Manage all aspects of client and prospect events including invitation process, compliance reviews, logistics, on-site client interaction, budget management, and post-event feedback.
* Ensure timely regional inputs to the forward-looking online marketing calendar.
* Create and ensure client and prospect lists exist for every event and targeted publications.
* Manage and track the status of invitations and responses to events.
* Establish a robust process for feeding qualitative and quantitative results for marketing initiatives to the global client analytics team.
* Ensure understanding of marketing collateral and facilitate the production of such collateral by working closely with product marketing teams.
* Ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing content to internal and external clients.
* Review output from global tracking reports with regional business leadership to enhance future programs.
* Coordinate the development and delivery of marketing deliverables to support changes to Citi policies or external regulations.
* Assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and maintaining the firm's reputation.
Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in marketing, communications, finance, or investments will be considered favorably.
* Extensive experience in marketing and communications, particularly in a private bank or dealing with high-end clients. Strong experience in running private client events is essential.
* Experience with digital delivery and client engagement programs is required.
* A proven track record and understanding of all disciplines in the marketing mix and financial products and services.

* Bachelor's/University degree; Master's degree preferred.
