A leading North West based Accountancy firm are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Manager to join the team in their Widnes office. This is one of the largest firms in the North West and provides a range of accountancy and business services to a wide range of clients across a range of sectors including engineering, manufacturing, service industries, housing associations, professional firms and more. This firm takes pride in their culture of continuous improvement, this will be an excellent opportunity for an experienced auditor to join a supportive team in a practice that is focused on the continued growth of their staff.
Your new role
As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and overview of the accounts team. The portfolio will consist of mainly limited companies and larger corporations in a range of industries. You will prepare accounts and review the work of junior members of staff. You will work closely with an experienced team of staff and will have the opportunity to continue your professional development and have the opportunity to win work and bring business to the firm.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling a portfolio of clients and have a background in practice. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of an effective team and have a strong sense of accountability. Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE). Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role.
