Job Title: Head of Operations (Property and Risk)
Location: Tonbridge and Sevenoaks Campus
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: KR10 £37,375 - £43,592
Role Overview:
As the Head of Operations (Property and Risk), you will support the Senior Leadership Team and Headteacher in managing all aspects of property, health and safety, and risk management for the school. You will have direct responsibility for the Premises team, playing a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the facilities across the Tonbridge and Sevenoaks campus.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the management and maintenance of school properties to ensure they meet health and safety regulations.
2. Lead the Premises team to ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and operational.
3. Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage risk effectively.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and safety standards at all times.
5. Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to enhance the overall safety and wellbeing of staff, students, and visitors.
6. Conduct regular audits and assessments of property and health and safety practices.
7. Manage budgets and resources related to property management and risk.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational environment.
2. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and risk management practices.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
5. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
