About the Role
Who are TPS?
TPS provides independent garages and bodyshops with high-quality Genuine Parts and products necessary for servicing and repairing Volkswagen Group vehicles. TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, ŠKODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. TPS operates a national network of Centres and boasts a workforce of 1,500, supported by a management team focused on fostering a motivating and inclusive workplace that values recognition and encourages learning and development.
Launched in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, allowing Centres to stock and sell on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The company has experienced significant growth both financially and in the number of Centres opened nationwide.
What will you be doing?
As a Parts Sales Executive, you will collaborate with the Sales Manager and team to achieve the business plan and sales objectives of the Centre:
* Achieve personal KPIs and revenue objectives with target customers.
* Accurately identify parts to meet customer sales requirements.
* Utilise product promotions effectively to meet specific targets.
* Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base.
* Maintain product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity.
* Build strong relationships with customers through regular contact via phone and face-to-face visits.
* Provide high levels of customer service by understanding requirements, responding to requests, progressing orders, and offering expert advice.
* Communicate timely updates to customers regarding their credit status.
* Assist and support the TPS Centre team to ensure excellent customer service delivery.
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager and others to achieve sales targets and provide a cohesive sales approach.
* Handle incoming calls and customer inquiries within KPIs, using the approved greeting.
* Ensure accurate use of systems for searching and ordering parts.
* Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
* Process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with TPS Guidelines in the Operations Manual.
What are we looking for?
* A self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
* Confident and capable communicator with experience in a fast-paced and/or telesales environment.
* Passion for providing an excellent customer service experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* A team player with the drive and determination to achieve individual and sales targets weekly and monthly.
* Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
* IT literate, preferably with a good working knowledge of MS Excel.
