Job Description Job Title: Personal Lines / Customer Service Advisor Location: Ipswich Full/Part Time: Full Time Salary Circa: £25,000 Insurance Industry Sectors: Insurance, Personal Lines, Motor, Home, HNW Overview A new position is being created for a Personal Lines to focus on:- To act as a Customer Adviser on specific nominated accounts and to support other members of the division on accounts as and when appropriate. To manage a range of customer enquiries via telephone, email and post always providing excellent customer service. To develop the account through existing client contacts and contribute to maximising growth through Converting new business enquiries, Cross sale and up sale of relevant ancillary products. Shared responsibility for achievement of the business plan and budget of the Division Ensure that you operate within the Company’s systems and procedures with regard to service standards, quality of documentation, credit control and support of key insurance markets. Check policy documents for accuracy and breadth of cover. Provide assistance to the Claims department with any relevant claims. Updating our client records with accurate information received from insurers including new business, adjustments and renewals. Transfer of copy and documents into the client electronic file To promote and support the Division both internally and externally to clients, the insurance market and other third parties. The Role The role will involve the following: -Play a major role in ensuring we give a first-class service to our clients projecting the organisation as a quality company. To answer calls from customers, reply to email request or queries as well as completing renewals and new business quotes. Designated responsibility for existing client base, including retention. Develop the account through existing client contacts by contributing to the division’s growth through, Converting new business enquiries, Cross sale and up sale of relevant ancillary products. Enquiries to be dealt as appropriate to experience and expertise with designated broking and placing as suitable within available markets. Build relationships with clients by managing day to day queries accurately and efficiently, by either telephone or written correspondence from clients. Administration of new business, mta’s and renewals. Responsibility to maintain good credit control within your client portfolio. Advice given meets clients’ requirements in all cases and recommendations and reasons documented in all cases. Fair analysis of the market with all potentially suitable products considered.
