Working hours: 30 hours per week Interview Date: 21st January 2025 Blackpool Citadel are looking to recruit an Administrator to join the team to provide a wide range of administrative (including financial) duties to support the effective running of the corps. Key Responsibilities include: Maintain effective filing systems, both digital and hard copy, ensuring secure and organised document management. Manage financial administration, including corps and community accounts, invoice processing, and preparation of annual budgets and accounts using The Salvation Army systems. Support the administration of key events, including fundraising and community outreach programmes, ensuring all contributions are documented and processed. Provide administrative support for meetings, including minute-taking and correspondence. The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate: Strong experience in a similar administrative role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and clear manner. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams). Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a proactive and self-motivated approach. An understanding of regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and data protection. A willingness to work within and support the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army. Desirable: Experience with bookkeeping and finance systems, and previous work in the charity or voluntary sector.
