Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our Dietetics team working in the Diabetes speciality. You will work alongside our 3 diabetes dietitians as well as working closely with the wider diabetes and dietetics teams. You will work with patients with diabetes of all ages including both adults and children. Main duties of the job Provide nutrition education to patients and staff, this may be in a 1:1 or group setting Be responsible for reviewing dietetic plans under the supervision of a registered dietitian Assist in use of diabetes technology to patients, carers and other professionals Work with other members of the MDT regarding dietetic elements of diabetes care. Support the work of the diabetes dietitians You will be provided with regular support, supervision and CPD opportunities.
