Our homes are rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and provide therapeutic care to children between the ages of 5 and 18 who are unable to live with their families. We also have specialist primary and secondary schools, a therapeutic farm and more exciting plans on the way About you The ideal applicant will be a confident, articulate professional with HR administrative experience, looking to develop their career in HR. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of the company. The right candidate will: Have 2 years HR experience – relevant qualifications/experience may be considered Be organised and efficient, able to produce quality, detail-oriented work under competing deadlines; independently and as part of a team. Have strong administrative and computer skills – able to minute meetings, draft formal letters, and maintain accurate employee records Have a proactive, can-do and flexible approach Be an adept communicator, comfortable discussing sensitive matters and having challenging conversations verbally and via written communication. Take responsibility for your own work including levels of accuracy and output Ideally have an operational understanding of employment law and/or the Care/Education sector. About the role You will be working closely with the HR Manager and supporting operational managers across our sites. You will support ER processes and have responsibility for specific HR functions. Some key duties are: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR matters. Oversee the facilitation of routine HR processes such as reviews, promotions, transfers, resignations and references. Support with low-level Employee Relations at our sites including capability and absence. Maintain and update all HR trackers to ensure accurate and timely information, providing reports or audits as required. Use data to monitor trends and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience, including developing tools to support line managers. Assist in developing HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and legal requirements. What will we offer you?
