Our client is seeking a highly skilled Linux SME to join their team on a contract basis within the training transformation team. This role focuses on translating and disseminating technical information and working closely with stakeholders, without requiring the design or delivery of the training itself. You will bring advanced technical expertise in Linux systems to support the development, review, and transformation of training materials for engineering environments. Working closely with content creators, instructional designers, and trainers, this SME will ensure all learning resources are technically accurate and highly relevant. Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with engineers and product teams to understand and communicate technical requirements Translating complex technical details into clear, understandable information for various stakeholders Supporting the development of training materials by providing subject-matter expertise Working closely with the communications and network teams to ensure accurate information dissemination Job Requirements: Strong understanding of Linux, helping to ensure the training content is accurate Create activities using command line prompts to enable the engineers to have practical activities to complete in the classroom environment. Proficiency in collaborating with engineering teams Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly Understanding of stakeholder management Security clearance (S/C) is needed Benefits: Opportunity to work on important projects supporting air traffic control systems Full-time role with a strong possibility of extension beyond March Engaging and dynamic work environment Please note the role is inside IR35 and is paying between £350 - £500 per day.
