Accounts Manager - Near Okehampton - £24,000-£28,000 - Full or Part Time
Trial Balance Consulting has been exclusively engaged by a rapidly developing retail-focused business that is poised for continued expansion. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join a small but dynamic team at our rural headquarters near Okehampton.
This permanent role can be full or part-time and reports to a highly experienced Director of Finance. It is ideally suited for a candidate who enjoys preparing management information and has a broad accounting skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide commentary on changes and developments.
2. Lead the accounts payable function.
3. Manage supplier payment runs.
4. Perform bank reconciliations.
5. Handle VAT reporting.
6. Conduct financial and project costing analysis.
7. Assist with year-end accounting procedures.
8. Collate payroll details for the outsourced provider.
Candidate Requirements:
We seek an experienced candidate with solid Excel data manipulation skills. Candidates may be AAT qualified or considered QBE. Good all-round IT experience is essential, with some exposure to SAGE or XERO systems highly desirable. The role involves working as part of a fun, energetic, and friendly head office team, where teamwork and interpersonal skills are crucial.
