About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tailored support and guidance to students with Autism.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing and delivering individualised lessons and learning activities that cater to the unique needs of students with Autism.
2. Implementing evidence-based strategies and interventions to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
3. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to develop comprehensive support plans and ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
4. Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to promote continuous growth and achievement.
5. Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and fosters a sense of belonging for all students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent SEN teaching qualification.
* Experience working with students with Autism spectrum disorders or related special educational needs.
* Strong understanding of SEN best practices, interventions, and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
