About the role
The Department of History seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Central and Eastern European History (including Russia/Soviet), Post- who will contribute to high-calibre historical research, postgraduate training and undergraduate and postgraduate pedagogy.
About you
We seek a scholar with a research specialism in the history of Central and Eastern Europe, including Russia/Soviet Union, from the nineteenth century onwards, with a particular interest in the region’s transnational and global dimensions. They will engage in high-quality research, deliver innovative teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and contribute to the wider academic and administrative activities of the Department.
