Our well-established Freight Forwarding client based in South East London is looking for a full time Inside Sales Co-ordinator.
The role will involve working as part of the inside sales team, helping manage the house accounts and ensuring targets are met. The inside sales team are responsible for following up on leads, responding to customers, and quoting rates for business.
This is an office-based role; however, there will be occasions for team members to meet customers. The team also helps support the outside sales team remotely to cover for holidays and sickness.
Requirements:
1. Experience of working for a freight forwarding company is essential.
2. Previous Inside Sales experience would be desirable.
3. Good IT skills, especially in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
4. A good communicator who can talk to customers and internal departments.
5. Time management skills, with the ability to manage several tasks in a busy team with tight deadlines.
6. Able to work as part of a team while still being self-motivated.
7. Have a drive to succeed and enthusiasm for sales.
Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 depending on experience.
Bonuses: Paid 2 x per year (January & July) after 6 months of service.
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays.
