We are partnering with a leading chilled food manufacturer in County Tyrone to find an experienced and proactive Quality Manager. About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality function, ensuring compliance with all food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement across operations. As a key member of the team, you will oversee and develop the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure adherence to BRC, HACCP, and other relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Quality Systems: Develop and implement effective quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Ensure Food Safety: Act as the primary point of contact for food safety matters, implementing corrective and preventative measures as required. Conduct regular internal audits and oversee supplier approval processes.
* Lead and Develop the Team: Manage and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of quality and excellence throughout the business. Collaborate with other departments to support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Analyze quality data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance product consistency, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
