We are a 27 Bedded Acute Medical/Cardio-Respiratory Ward caring for Acutely Ill Adults. We are looking to recruit passionate, motivated, innovative, dynamic & driven nurses to join our team. You will have excellent communication skills & a passion for your role and in improving patient care. You will be required to deliver quality care in line with the Trust care values and we as a ward will value you & offer training specific to the needs of the ward, and you will have opportunity to develop your clinical skills in Acute Illness Management. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre face to face at Kettering General Hospital. There is no option to do this virtually. You must have a full NMC Registration, the trust DOES NOT currently offer OSCE preparation to obtain NMC. The role of the nurse/midwife is to provide a holistic, high quality, patient focused, comprehensive, efficient and safe service for the patients cared for at Kettering General Hospital, acting with responsibility, accountability and integrity; reporting adverse events and poor practice to the person in charge. The nurse/midwife would be expected to effectively and responsibly use resources and engage in change and service improvements. Standards of practice at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) are aligned to the standards set out by the Nursing & Midwifery (NMC) Code: Standards of conduct, performance and ethics for nurses and midwifes (2008).
