Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview: As a Teacher of Design Technology (Graphics), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in graphic design and design technology. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who is passionate about their subject area and has a strong understanding of graphic design principles. You will have the opportunity to inspire and motivate students, helping them develop their skills and confidence in this exciting field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in graphic design and design technology.
2. Provide support and guidance to students as they explore different techniques and approaches in graphic design.
3. Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and schemes of work.
6. Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and school events as required.
7. Stay informed about current trends and advancements in graphic design and design technology education.
Qualifications and Experience:
8. Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant degree in Design Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field.
9. Previous experience teaching graphic design and design technology at the secondary school level.
10. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting creativity and innovation.
11. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
12. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
13. Commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
