University of the Arts London (UAL) has an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused administrator to support the delivery of our Study Abroad and Preparation Programmes (SAPP).
As part of our Academic Enterprise (AE), SAPP offers specialist education courses for the international market, including pre-degree courses and study abroad opportunities.
As a Student Engagement Administrator, you will be responsible for administering the programmes attended by SAPP students. This will involve:
1. Administering the SAPP application and enrolment process, providing advice, guidance and encouragement
2. Supporting marketing and conversion activities to increase enrolment
3. Assisting with the organisation of events
4. Liaising with students, course tutors and other key College/University contacts
5. Providing ad-hoc project and administrative support to the SAPP Senior Management Team during key periods
You will have a primary area of responsibility for either Study Abroad or English language courses, but you must be able to work on all areas of AE International.
About you
We are looking for a hard-working individual with a strong customer focus, who possesses previous experience of administrating projects and delivering student advice within an academic environment. Experience of international education (or experience of work within this field) is essential.
Educated to degree level (or with relevant professional experience), you will possess strong IT skills, including a high-level of competency in MS Office.
You will be capable of working independently and without direct supervision, using your problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions to new or unique problems. You will also possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
