The Role:
My client is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Director of Sales with a deep understanding of the Cambridge market. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, fostering relationships with key local partners and businesses, and leading a high-performing sales team to exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase occupancy and revenue.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, universities, and key stakeholders within the Cambridge community.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets.
* Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships to drive direct bookings and event sales.
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create impactful campaigns that align with sales objectives.
* Represent the hotel at industry events and networking opportunities within Cambridge and beyond.

* Proven experience in a senior sales role within the hospitality sector, preferably in Cambridge.
* Strong local market knowledge and established connections within the Cambridge business and tourism community.
* Demonstrated success in leading and developing a high-performing sales team.

Salary - £70,000 + bonus + benefits
