Sort Team Leader Contract type: Permanent Location: Wednesbury Salary: £27,060 per annum Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday 09:00 to 17:30 Hours: 40hrs What you'll be doing As one of our Sort Team Leaders you will report in to the Sort Team Managers giving regular updates on the sort operation. You will have a team of Sorter Loaders who you will have to coordinate to ensure that they are sorting and laoding parcels to and from the trailers in a timely and efficient manner. What you need to show us You'll have the ability to work within a team but also be able to lead your team by example working in all parts of the parcel sort centre. You will ensure all parcels are scanned as required, and manually sorting the parcels in to the correct loading bays and on to our HGV trailers. You'll have an excellent attention to detail in order to spot check for parcel miss-sorts and damaged parcels.
