We are looking for a committed and forward thinking Principal therapist, with a proven track record of leading and developing staff and services, to join the Medical & Surgical Therapies Team at the University Hospital of North Midlands. The role involves working within the broader therapy management team across Royal Stoke & County sites alongside the other principal therapists who support Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams in all clinical divisions.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone to demonstrate their leadership and management skills in a fast paced acute setting as well as providing clinical expertise to the teams. This speciality lends itself naturally to innovative ways of working and we are looking for a creative thinking individual who thrives on new challenges and is able to demonstrate a solution focussed approach in problem solving.
Main duties of the job
Support will be provided by the other Principal Therapists and Divisional Therapy managers and continuous development is provided through appraisal, internal training and external learning. Participate in Trust and external leading programs are actively encouraged. The successful candidate will be expected to fully invest in the Trust Values of Compassion, Improving, Safer and Together.
The ideal candidate will already have experience at senior management level and be able to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in an acute trust. If you are able to take on this dynamic post we look forward to hearing from you.
